Clubbing Tips

December 1, 2012

We know you’re all thinking about the summer and those hot crazy nights, but you can’t pause your fun time for more than 6 months! Go out and have fun in a club near you and we bet that you can get some pretty hot crazy nights in the middle of autumn or winter too. But before you go, there are a couple of things you should consider.

One of the most important aspects is knowing where you’re going. Search for the club on the Internet or better yet, ask a friend that actually was there. Even if you’re not that picky about service, it’s important to choose a place where you’re likely to feel comfortable. For example, if you’re a fan of house music, a club where they play 90s music won’t be your cup of tea.

And there’s another reason why you should have some information on your clubbing location – the dress code. Basically, every club is its own country when it comes to this and most clubs have some sort of rule about this. You simply won’t be allowed to get in if you’re wearing sweat pants and sneakers and the club’s rule is a minimum of smart casual. By the way, the rule of thumb on clubbing dress code is that it’s always best to be over-dressed than under-dressed. Maybe you’re starting off with one location and you’ll be going somewhere else, unplanned, later on. Look your best, but try to stay comfortable. After all, clubbing is about fun and you can’t have fun if you don’t feel good about yourself, right?

When it comes to drinks, well… The truth is that most clubbers dive into a drink to loosen up and everybody should know their own limits. We recommend responsible drinking for 2 good reasons: one, you wouldn’t want to end your night early because you’re sick, and two, avoiding the hangover the next day is bliss. Oh, and by the way, avoid mixing drinks. You don’t have to drink a lot to get wasted if you’re mixing beer, scotch and tequila.

Also very important – dancing. It’s basically the main reason why you’re going clubbing, right? Sure, some go clubbing to show off, others go to hook up, but at some point dancing is to be expected. If you’re a good dancers, you probably know what to do, and the only advice for you is avoid grinding up against a stranger without a minimum of establishing eye contact first. If you’re not a great dancer, don’t expect the drinking to enhance your abilities. Look at others, loosen up and just feel the beat. Don’t try too hard! The truth is that club music these days doesn’t require minuet moves, so you shouldn’t over-reach.

These are probably the most important aspects. Well, these and having enough money (for the entry fee, drinks, tips and probably the cab back home). So if you’ve got these covered, you can do what you set out to do – have fun!

Get ahead of the game this year by finding out who is going on holiday to the same place at the same time as you – before you travel. Don’t wait until you get to resort do the legwork before you depart. Check out before you check in. A fun place for fun people! Click here !
