Mega-Fun – Magaluf

January 21, 2013

Famous BCM Planet Dance in Magaluf

If you’ve seen Ibiza, you’ll love Magaluf. If you haven’t seen Ibiza yet, you’ll love both, unless you’re old and boring. If you’re a party animal, Magaluf is the place for you this summer! It’s about fun, clubs, drinking, lovely beaches, open minds, foam parties, famous DJs and so on.

So where is this magical place? It’s in Majorca (Mallorca), Spain, so that makes it about 2 hours flying distance from the U.K. Yes, Paradise can be as close as that… Now let’s start talking about the thing you’re most interested in – clubs.

The biggest and most famous club in Magaluf is BCM (Planet Dance). This is actually the 7th biggest club in the world and you’ll find it on Avenida S’Olivera. The club itself is made up of two massive dancefloors, the lower one (Millenium) being worldwide known for the fabulous foam parties. Some of the guest DJs of the club are: Tiesto, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, Paul Van Dyk, DJ Sammy, Pete Tong, Ferry Corsten, Alex Gaudino, Armin Van Buuren or Erik Morillo. Thinking about all of these guys in one place we bet you’ll be glad to know that the pre-opening party this year will be on the 26th of April. This means that right about now would definitely the best time to book a cheap flight.

But there are a lot more clubs on that famous Magaluf strip – Mulligan’s (previously known as The Venue), Boomerang, The Poco Loco, Bananas, Banana Joe’s; and these are only a brief selection of the biggest ones. Of course, in addition to these, there’s no shortage of bars.

And even though Magaluf is famous for its nightlife, you can also find ways of having fun during the day. For example, if you’re fond of water rides and you’re looking for an adrenaline boost, you’ll just love The West Park. And speaking of adrenaline, you might want to try The House of Katmandu – surprising, thrilling, mysterious, with a 4D cinema and a couple of exciting rides. But if you like to keep your feet on the ground you can always get a bit of a thrill on the kart track. Oh, and don’t forget to see the pirate show at Els Pirates.

Of course, you also get to enjoy the standard benefits of a seaside resort: sunbathing and swimming. But even these have an extra exciting spin – sunbathing is a lot more fun when you’re dancing your way to a tan at a boat party and when it comes to swimming, try the challenge of swimming to Black Lizard Island.

All in all, it’s definitely something you want to experience in this lifetime, and the sooner you do, the better!
